KILLISNOO, Oct. 28. — Albert Lookerh and family, Mr and Mrs John Gamble, Mr. and Mrs. John Sheweka and grandchildren left for “halk Bay, Tuesday to the up gar ten, dry fish and hunt in prepara ton for the winter season. Mr. and Mrs. George Bets re urited from Juneau Saturday night and eff for Mood Bay Sunday of wet week. Thomas JD, Scott, Andrew Scott, Charley Scott, Willie Scott and fam ily Went to their homestead on Tues day to take up their gardens. They expect to be gone about ten days George H. Peterson, Forest Ran ger, on Ranger 5, was in port Wed nesday morning, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hobson and granddaughters, and Ike James and family were here Sunday and Mon day. . The gashoat North Star will Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie George and Mr. and Mrs. Larrys Jackson on boar, seame in for a day this week from Miask where they are camping. Mr. and Mrs. Harry W. srithe and Joe Hager returned Tuesday evening from a hunting trip to Tyea and vicinity. John Nelson and family came tn Friday from White Water Bay and i j returned Saturday morning. Shorty Hobson and wife and Joey Nook, came in this week and left again for camp at White Water Bay, Mr. and Mrs. George Reis, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Brown and children also Moses Jamestown and Jamil came in from Hood Bay and re turned Saturday. Carl Rikert, watchman at the Hidden Inlet cannery, Hood Bay, came in for mail on his boat Saturday. Marry Samato and family have left for a trip to White Water Bay. They expect to return in a few days and go to Hawk Inlet for the winter. Frank Bell and family returned, recently from Chicke. Joe Hager is leaving for Juneau and Martin Anderson for Tenakea, on the Katebeth.
