BENTON COUNTY LAND TO BE SOLD Court Orders Sale of Henry Robertson Farm Near Boswell. As a result of an order of the Benton county court Monday, one of the largest land sales ever recorded in the county will be held on Novem ber 22, the sale involving the Henry Robertson farm of 400 acres, lying immediately south of Parish Grove, near Boswell. By the terms of the will of Mr. Robertson, who died in 1899, he gave the land to his wife, to be used by her during the time of her life. His wife died in 1918, and ac cording to the will, the land is to go to his brothers and sisters living at the time of his death, and the nieces and nephews, children of his brothers and sisters dead at the time of his death. Soon after the death of Mrs. Rob ertson proceedings, commenced to sell the land, and it took more than a year to learn who his heirs were. In the twenty years following his death many had died, and the others were widely scattered. More than one hundred heirs are parties in the suit. After the death of Mr. Robertson John and Samuel Noll purchased the interests of several of the heirs, so that these two men now own more than one-third of the estate. The plaintiffs in the suit are rep resented by E. G. Hall, of Fowler, C. V. McAdams, of Lafayette, and A. B. McAdams, of Boswell. A. B. Mc Adams was appointed by the court as commissioner to make the sale of the land. The estate is said to be worth $300 an acre, and it is ex pected that there will be keen compe tition at the sale to get possession of the farm.
