RAFF RIOT IN CORBIN.A report comes from Corbin that a race riot was on in that ♦own last night in which six or eight negroes were killed. Th(* trouble seems to have started after several white persons had been held up and robbed of mon ey and other valuables dur ihg the last week or so. One man was rob'!ed Wednesday night and then stabbed almost to death, which was supposed to have been dono e ther by negroes or by a white man wiih face blacked. Four of our colored folks, Pete aid Will Frakes and G orge Hiatt and wife, returned from there this morning and state they were Incky to get tin train in time, even *ho they had nothing to do with the trouble They say the colored pftpultliou of Corbin diminished quite a bit from dark last night until train 24 lelt there this morning
