Miller cutting timber in the woodland, just south of the city, met with a very painful accidentThursday when he cut his right leg between the knee and the ankle with a keen edged axe. A deep wound four inches in length was inflicted It bled profusely. He wras taken to the office of a local physician and the wound was dressed. Four stitcherwere taken to close the wound and he is now confined to his home on East street. He was reported to be resting easy today.The accident happened in a most peculiar manner. Stotts was pre paring to cut dowrn a small sapling vhen he stumbled over a shrub. Ir some manner the axe struck his limt n the fall.
