Transferred From Juarez to Laredo and From Attorneyship to Judgeship Senor Romero, the federal district atorney in Juarez, has been appointed federal district judge in Laredo and will leave in a few days to assume the duties of the office. Readers of The Herald will remem ber a series of incidents, an acount of which was published in these columns a few weks ago, in which Consul Mal len and Senor Romero were the prin cipal actors. The affair led to a com munication with President Diaz and re sulted in the promotion and transfer of the attorney to another court.
