Among the players who are taking part in the City Chess Club Tournament, are Mr A. Mocatta and Mr. Louis Zangwill, In the first round which was played this week, Mr. Mocatta lost Ms game to Mr. Ross, and Mr. Zangwill scored against the Rev. Mr. Sugden, forcing a difficult game by a fine series of moves.
