The Lord Vifcount Cobham is dangeroufly ill.The Keepers of Newgate have receiv’d certain Information, that the famous John Yheppard came a few Nights ago to the Brewhoufe of Mtffieurs Nichols and Tate, in Thames-ftreet, and begg’d fome Work of the Stuktr, which was given him, and that before the proper Officer could be got to fecure him, he went off.(29.) Yclicrday the Mother of the Famous John Sheppard was at St. James’s, to prclent a Petition to his Ma-jefty for a pardon for her unfortunate Son.
