Miller, special agent, reports there were 2,744 bales of cotton ginned in Burnet County from the crop of 1941, prior to October 18, as compared with 4,719 bales to the same date last year. Miss Mary Alice Rucker returned Sunday from a four weeks’ visit with friends in California. She reports a grand and enjoyable trip. Returning by way of Salt Lake City, Utah, she enjoyed an exceedingly pleasant time in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fealy, former citizens of Barnet.
