BAILEY’S SECOND TRIALC. S, Bailey to be Tried Second Time for Killing of Evans in Andrews County| District court convenes at Stanton next week and the trial of C. S. Bailey, who is charged | with murdering J. W. Evans the 119th day of March this year, wiV j be called for trial next Wednesday, Oct. 29th.Mr. Bailey stood his first trial in September at Midland, and the jury failing to agree was discharged; and venue changed to Stanton and will be tried on date above stated.District Attorney Brady, requests us to say to the public that witnesses who testified in j the case before will be expected j to appear at Stanton, Oct. 29th.: but those who did not testify : need not come unless again notified. This means that only about hall the number of witnesses will be required to go to Stanton as were at Midland. - Andrews County Times.
