Tiffany of f this city completed a deal with * Charles Gottschalk, proprietor of the!a Gottsehalk opera house of this city, 1 whereby they leased the opera house for a term of years, commencing January l, 1909. The length.of the £ life of the lease was not made public.Mr. Walker will move his family to this city to reside and will have c the active management of the thea- i r tre. He will open the house on Jan-|a uary 1st with the comic opera “The f District Leader. He has arranged £ also for a number of other first c class attractions, among them being ^ “The Lion and the Mouse, the well known comic opera.Mr. Walker is the manager of Walker’s Northwestern Theatrical Circuit, which comprises 100 towns and cities west of the Mississippi river. For some time has been the manager of the Grand opera house at Brookings.Mr. Walker will odopt the policy of booking the best attractions it is possible to get.
