On Tuesday night the residence- of Mr. Albert Sims in the northern part of town, was almost completely consumed by flames, and is a total loss. The file was discovered about8 30 at night but it was impossible to save eith-, r the Luilding’or his house-bold goods.| Everything being so dry, the flames were soon beyond control and it was : with difficulty that any of the household effects were saved. Only a few articles of clothing and some of the bedding were taken out. The origin of the fire is unknown as considerable headway had been made by the flames before the family knew of it The loss to Mr. Sims and family is heavy. The building was partially insured. Mr. Sims has the sympathy of the cammun-icy in his loss.
