K\cry body had the privilege of going there and getting a number, a pur chase of goods not being necessary. Kneli person was given a card with the number and their name written on it. Saturday evening at nineo'clock was the time -et for the draw ing. K/ra Newcomer and T. K, Me Uardell wen* appointed a committee to superintend the drawing. Num bers halt;l been given out from 1 to •1,070, These* figures 1 to I 070were placed on as many slipsof card board, put in a cvlinderand thoroughly mixed. A small boy was then blindfolded and drew out the lucky number .Vis. It is not known yet w ho has t he number.
