' CitUU, lUi Al-bll/ii lt;JK L7.4 7eaf h Store for Him.—Great amusement was caused among the passengers by the train arriving at the B 0. depot in this city at 7:15 p. m. on Saturday. _A colored lady, residing in Frederick had been to Hagerstown fair with several friends, and from, all accounts the party had made things lively there. The harmony of the family circle was, however, marred by ^ the circumstance that the colored lady’s husband had got into bad company in a blissful locality of Hagerstown, which bears the lurid appellation of '‘Hell’s alight.” Here the errant swain was relieved of his entire etock of cash, and between fear and shame he failed to put in an • appearance on the return journey. The injured wife regaled the occupants of the car with an account of the monies she had had to borrow, and the lingering torments she intended to inflict on her faithless partner when he returned to Freder-I ick.
