VICTOR — Four candidates are entered in the race for four year positions on the Victor Toan Board. The two receiving the highest number of votes Nov. 4 will serve as councilmen. Candidates were asked to sult, sacaphire ine formation and photographs. No picture of Leonard Corey was available. VICTOR -- Democrat T. Harold Ryan is seeking a four year term as town councilman in Victor. The candidate is district representative of My. Roberts Enterprise, Inc. of Cazenovia. A life-long Victor resident, Rivan is a graduate of Victor Central School and Rochester Institute of Technology. He was on May 2, 1931. His community activities have included serving on the Victor Town Board from 1970 to 1974, the Victor Planning Board (a current member), the Victor Board of Education, American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Victor Fire Department and Chamber of Commerce. He is presently serving on the building needs committee of the school district. Ryan and his wife Marilyn reside at 1252 Cork Road with their five children: Tracy, 15; Kathleen, 13; John, 10; Jen nifer, seven; and edward, five. VICTOR — Leonard 8. Carey of 151 Church St., Victor, is the Republican candidate for town councilman in the November election. Born Jan. 15, 1925, Carey ls 5 149 graduate of Rochester Institute of Techiny and received a degree in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt ‘University. ‘The candidate is employed as an engine supervisor for Beatman Kodak in Rochester. He was elected a village trustee in 1961 and was village mayor from 1963 to 1966. He returned to village government in 1959 and presently is trustee., We has been treasurer of the Rochester Engineering Society, t trustee of the Victor First, Presbyterian Church, past member of Milner Lodge FAM, a 25-year member of the Victor Fire Department, and a member of the American Legion. He formed the Victor ~ Farmington Volunteer Am bulance Corp and was its director of operations for the first two years. Covey and his wife Lois W. aire the parents of Cathy C. Oates, 27; Sue Doran, 2; Bruce Ly, 20; and Debora Ann, 12. VICTOR - Seeking re election as councilman on the Victor Town Board is Charles 4. Phillips Jr. of H. Rowley Road. Phillips, who was born Oct. 4, iH in Victor, is a 19% graduate of Victor High School and a 1939 graduate of the University of Rochester with a tutor in economics. He has taken materials hupching and real estate courses in Rochester Institute ¢ Vechnology. For 12 years Phillips worked for Rochester Gas and Electric Corp. He retired in November of 1972 after 27 years with 1-T-E Imperial Corp., Viclor In sulators Division. The candidate and his wife, Marie D., are the parents of Charles A. 111, 33; David B., D. and Jeanne Marie, 25. His community activities are included the following: Victor Chapter of the American Field Service (board of directors and treasurer), West Ontario Chapter of the American Red Cross (past president), Victor Lions Club (treasurer), cub scoutraster for two years, Victor Chamber of Commerce (president), First United Presbyterian Church of Victor (board member and church treasurer for 15 years). Phillips has served on the county Republican committe: for 12 years. He was elected a town councilman in 1971. VICTOR — The Democratic candidate for four-year councilman on the Victor Town Board is Richard Woodring. An eight-year resident of Victor, Wooodring was born in Winfield Park, MI. Nov. 5, w34. He is a 1962 graduate of Rah way,NJ High School and received an associale degree in electronics in 1906 from RCA Anstitute in New York City. For six years he worked as a salesman for Haverslick and Co. of Rochester and is now employed as the western New York sales representative of Hambleton Metal Division of Ontario Metal Supp. The candidate and his wife, Nancy, reside at 7285 Willowbrook Road with their wo children: Tracey, six, and five-year-old Jettre Woodring served in the U.S. army for three years and is a Vietnam veteran. de was co fender of the Victor Saints Football Team and served as head coach for two years. He was president of the Victor Little League Division of Community Baseball, secretary - treasurer of the Victor Chamber of Commerce, and was one of the original members of the Victor Con servation Advisory Council.
