ObituaryOsmund Anderson wasbom at Stavenger, Norway, Nov. 30, 1896, was confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Stavenger and came to America at the age of 17.He was united in marriage to Miss Jeanette Patterson of Marathon, Iowa, May 26, 1926. To this union, three children were born: Myron of Hubbard, Iowa, Gay Ion and Larry of Marathon. He was engaged in farming until his retirement.Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife and three sons, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Anderson of Hubbard, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Gaylon Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Anderson of Marathon; one sister, Bertha Anderson of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; eight grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.“Nick” was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
