PRAIRIE FARM. (Special) Prairie Farm won its first Lake land Conference championship in the school’s history here a Fri day, handing previously un beaten Cameron a 14-6 setback and stretching is own winning streak to nine. The game was the Panthers homecoming Prairie Farm linebacker Mor ris Pederstuen intercepted a pass and ran for 65 yards and a touchdown in the second quar ter and halfback Julian Nelson caught a 20-yard pass from Ron Glazer for a third quarter score .Nelson and Glazer each ran an extra point. CAMERON WAS held outside the 20 yard line except for two occasions. In the fourth period, Hill threw a pass to Dan Hessel to race 50 yards only to be knocked down on the one. Ken Dummer plunged it over. Earli er, the Comets recovered a Pan ther fumble 20 and moved the ball down to the seven before bogging down. Nelson added to his school scoring with his touchdown and point after. The seatback junior has tallied 92 points in eight games. Outstanding in one of the con ference’s best games of the season were guards Gerald Be ver, Fred Falagan and Gary Allram, halfbacks Larry Leh man and Glazer for Prairie Farm and Dummer and Bob Larson for the losers, Cameron had a string of 1) wins before the game. Cameron ...... 00 06— 6 Prairie Farm. . . .07 7 014 HUDSON (Special) Hudson High gained its second straight Middle Border Conference foot ball championship by powering to a 40-6 win over Baldwin here Friday night for its seventh straight loop win. The Raiders lost only to Menomonie in the season opener. Coach Carver Fouks’ team sewed up the victory it needed to finish ahead of runnerup Riv er Falls by blasting over four touchdowns in the second period. The Raiders held a 34-0 lead at halftime. Jerry Rose paced Hudson to victory by scoring two touch downs, one on a 70-yard punt re turn, and passing to Tom Ever son for a 25-yard counter. Other Hudson touchdowns came on a one-yard plunge by Roger Per seus, a 27-yard run by Charles Walbrant with a fumbled kick off, and a one-yard plunge by Bill Holden. Baldwin's only score came in, the final quarter on a 10-yard run by Duane Voskuil. Hudsons standouts included Rose, Everson, Perseus, Dallas Nord, Ron Willie, Walbrandt, and Tom Benoy.
