A fairly large crowd attended They had as their speakers Joseph Frontron of aKnsas City and Nathaniel HUtBon of Maryville.Mr. Frontron is one of the Progressive*' ablest speakers of Missouri He ha* been one of the new party's best leaders in western Missouri, atid has entered into this fall’s campaign with vigor He dwelt on the history of the party from its formation two years ago, when a number of Republicans split from the old organ and followed Theodore Roosevelt, down to the present day. Mr Frontron also explained the policy of the Progressive party in state and national government.Republicans Rest.Mr. Sisson spoke principally relative to the qualifications of the Progressive county candidates. Each was mentioned and reasons given why the Progressives should stand back of the men on their party ticket.The Republicans of Nodaway county have closed their campaign, with the exception of the big rally at Maryville Saturday afternoon.
