The regent, Mrs. Leon Stell, made a ft w remarks and Mrs. Fletcher Sharp, chapter historian, read the stoiy ot Michael Lusk.He was born in 1770 and died Am;. 4, 1840. He married Elizabeth Groat of Groat's Corners (South Endi, Wwaik, Oct. 20, 1789 by the, Rev. John G Gephard. They lived in Clarverack,n.y.His parents were Michael and Anna Jacobi Lusk who had five sons: John, William, Michael, Jacob and Philip. Elizabeth Groat's father, John P. Groat, was a blacksmith at Groat’s Corners.Michael and Elizabeth had six dnidi en William boiu July 22, 1790; Catherma , Nov. 17, 1/91; Margareth, Aug. 31, 1793; Johannes Aug. 2, 1795; Hendrik, Dec. 2, 1797 and Elizabeth, Sept. 18, 1799.Midhael Lusk was a private in Capt.Hcui N ugmient, Now Yor k Militia for 8 munih.v He utcived a pension of J|» ot) i . He was once taken prisoner.During the War of 1812, Lewis enlisted in a company of Revolutionary War Veterans called the Silver Grays,--.but the company was never needed in active service.At the close of the ceremonies at the two graves, the Rev. Walter R.
