The Pastor of the Baptist curch, assisted by Rev. Elsey is conducting a protracted meeting and a large number have been converted, 21 being baptized Sunday the youngest, Miss Ollie Scott, being 12 years of age. The church has been tilled to*overflowing for the past few cays’ services. The results far exceed all expectations. Rev. McMennis, is exceedingly grati fied as are all our religious people. The young ladies who have held prayer services in con-nection with the meeting have rendered such assisstance as is beyond human measures and the praise due them is not to be framed in words.
