Mrs. A. W. Noble.After a painful illness of nearly two years which was borne with Christian fortitude and courage, Mrs Lelia Cope Noble, wife of A. W. Noble, editor of the Laurel Chronicle, died at her home in this city Friday morning. All that a loving- husband and learned physicians could do was in vain.A stay in the south-west a year ago brought only temporary relief. For some time it has been known that she could not live, but only for the past few days was it thought that death wa9 so.near A severe cold contracted a few days ago hastenedthe end.Mrs. Noble was born in Washington, County, Ala., in 1876. Her mother moved to Paulding in Jasper County where she grewto womanhood. She was married to A. W. Noble June 22nd1898.*Besides a husband, she leaves two little children, a mother and two brothers. The burial will take place today at Hickory Grove at 2 o’olock from the Presbyterian church, of whichshe was a member, Rev. R. L. Campbel will conduct the ceremony. _
