After a short illness Esq. W R. H. Mack died last Saturday night at the advanced age of 3. He was an old citizen of this county and as such was held in high es teem by all who knew him. At one time he was Justice of the Peace of this precinct. His de mise Sebi at his son-in-law H. B. Scotts near Blue Ridge and the burial took place in this city, Sunday evening, from the resi dence of his daughter Mrs. T. H. Emerson. The Munsone fraterni ty of which had long been a mem ber conducted the funeral acco c ing to their impressive rites and ceremonies In Esq. Mack’s death the world loses a good man and humanity a friend indeed, The Democrat joins in extending sympathy to the bereaved child ren.
