Sir Joseph Ivner and Captain Corcoran were admirably played hy two twin brothers, Willie and John Smith, Both have good voices and charmed the audience. Dick Deadeve, as acted by Master Cov-OrdhlC, reileeled the highest credit on the young sol dr. Ralph Backstraw, by Master Mmehm, was very finely dune. iHe has a very fine voice, ami reached the highest notes with ease. But the sweetest little tusdd in love was Jo*enlnne, the Captain’s daughter, in the beautiful little seven year eld person of Miss LdUc Psyrslovr. A= graceful as possible and a*. pretty as a picture, she won the house. Cousin Hebe, Miss hilly -Batloy. sang very sweetly and swept the bouse \ ub s lor nr- of applause in her nnale song. Buttercup, by Miss Walters, has seldom been equalled mid never excelled ui Ibdsfon hall, and her singing was exquisite.
