Hearn- ' ' , t 1 11 * •*' 4'The October rheeting of the William McIntosh Chapter NSDAR was held, in, the Chapter Club House Saturday, Oct. 15th, at 3 P.M. .The Regent in presiding welcomed all members with special recognition, given to Mrs. Mary Carmichael Fu- -tral who has not been able toattend as regularly as desired. The Chaplain, Mrs. Edith Echols, used the fifth Chapter of Galations verses 13, 14, 15 for scriptural guidance, following with prayer, pledge to the Flag, singing of America and the American’s Creed.The President General’s message, read by Miss Ruth Phinazee, brought attention to October 11, as the organization date of our National Society, setting forth the objectives as Historical, Educational, and Patriotic which are as meaningful today as in the year of organization 1890. In these 87 years the Society has grown from the original 18 membership to over 205,000 in 3,000 chapters.
