ObituaryAccident victim funeralFuneral service was held in listowel October 20 for Raymond Douglas Thompson of R. R. 3, Mdton, who was killed in a cor accident, October 17. The son of Ornie and Dulcie Thompson, R. R. 2, Monkton, Ontario, he had lived in the Acton area since the age of 13. He was employed with FVed MacNamnro Construction, Oakville.He was active in stock car racing and hod won three trophies at Acton Speedway.He was born in 1952 andattended school in Orangeville.He is survived by his parents, sisters Mrs. Ron White (Marie) R. R. 3, Milton and Betty Jean Thompson. R. R. 2, Monkton.Pallbearers were Douglas 'Hiompson, Grand Valley; Reg Hancock, Toronto; Bob Priestop, Bornholme; Gary Rock, Monkton; Dan Kociuk and' ,George Nicholls, Acton. Flower bearers were Steven Woodland, Orangeville; Fred Murphy,Orangeville; David Drummond, Monkton and Paul Rock, Monkton.JuvenileschargedTwo juveniles were charged with stealing from local stores by Acton police. They will appear in juvenile court.The boys were apprehended tost Thursday afternoon.A liquor seizure, fight at one of the hotels, impaired driver, a late night assault and a drunk man were among items on the police blotter this week.Patience, says the Ontario Safety league, is a virtue that wcj appreciate in the driver behind, and dislike in the driver ahead.
