Pupils enroll at the Kenneseth Israel Sunday School. No new pupils will be enrolled who attended that school are invited to after Sunday. November 5th.The Ladies' Auxiliary of the Adath Veshurun synagogue, will meet next Tuesday afternoon. October 31st in the vestry rooms. Nomination and election of officers will take place.The bridge whist given by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Temple Wednesday afternoon. October 25th. at the Temple House, was very successful, being attended by 125 ladies. Mrs. Isaac Weil and Mrs. Jonas Weil were in charge.The Junior Leaders gave a Hallowe’en party. Saturday. Those wishing to enroll their children should apply at the Talmud Torah Auditorium. Sunday. October 29th between ten and twelve in the morning and between two and four in the afternoon. An automobile will be hired to convey the children during the cold weather. The astonishing success of the kindergarten during the last season warrants a large enrollment, and as only a limited number cun be accommodated, the parents are urge.I not to delay enrollment of their children, and bring them next Sunday.Sewing classes under the auspices of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Talmud Torah will open on Monday afternoon. Everybody is requested to mask.Preparations for the Atlas and Ampliora Football game to be given for the benefit of the Talmud Torah are progressing rapidly and both teams are developing well oiled machines under guidance of their respective captains, and coaches. The Atlas have arranged for chalk talks for their players at the club rooms. At the first of these. Fred Chicken, well known North High Star who is now a number of the Marines, gave an interesting talk on the game. The date and place of the event is still undecided but definite arrangement will be perfected by next week.The Newsboys of North Minneapolis and the Kents of the South end of the city entertained about 300 of their friends at Sumner field, last Sunday in what proved to be a wonderful game of football.
