News and Observer, 23rd: Lastnight at the annual meeting of the North Carolina Agricultural Society, Mr. Ashley Horne, of Johnston, was unanimously elected president, upon Mr. J. A. Long declining to accept a third term. Secretary Joseph E. Pogue and Treasurer Claude B. Denson were both re-elected unanimously. The present vice-presidents were re-elected.It was decided, upon resolution of Mr. R. H.
