Him May JtoberU and the Starling bmedy Company gave entertainments at Corn wall’s Opei'a House in this vil-aga every evening last weak, commonc-ng Monday and olosing Saturday night. They were greeted by large and appreciative audiences on each appearance. In their artistic acting and social commingling with our people off the stage they appeared like perfect ladies and gentlemen, and in every respect were superior to any dramatio company that has ever filled an * engagement in tbis village. Our oitizens were so highly pleased with this fine dramatio company that many of them signed a request for their return. They responded with a promise to give two more entertainments here next Monday and Tueeday evenings, and will appear on the first evening in that popular emotional drama, “Camille.” Wo bespeak for them a crowded house. Miss May Bob-erts is an accomplished actress,’who wins the admiration of her audience at the first and retains it te the last. Misc Helena Coe is brilliant and charming in every role in which she appears. Mr, J. P. Butledge is an actor who would adorn any stage.
