Mis* May jRoberU and ths Starling omedy CQmpany gave entertaintnenti at Corn weirs Opei'a House in this vil-age every evening last week, commonc* ng Monday and dosing Saturday nigbt. They were greeted by large and appreciative audiences on each appearance. In tbeir artistic acting and social commingling with our people off the stage they appeared like perfect ladiee and gentlemen, and in every respect were superior to any dramatic company that has ever filled an' engagement in this village. Our oitirens were so highly pleased with this fine dramatic company that many of them signed a request for their return. They responded with a promise to give two more entertainments here next Monday and Tuesday evenings, and will appear on the first evening in that popular emotional drama, “Camille. We bespeak for them a crowded house. Miss May Bob-erts is an accomplished actress,'who wins the admiration of her audience at the first and retains it to the last. Miss Helsna Coe it brilliant and charming in every role in which she appears. Mr, J. P. Butledge is an aotor who would adorn any stage. He possess**. great versatility of talent and is exceedingly pleasing in veioe and manner. Mr. K. G. Mortimer is not easily excelled in the characters he represents. Mr. P. Chas.
