Grace Hipsley died October 19Funeral services were held Friday, October 23 for Grace Hipsley, 90, who died Tuesday, October 19 at the Bethany Lutheran Home in Council Bluffs. Mrs Hipsley had been at Bethany Lutheran since last March.Mrs Hipsley was born March 18, 1886 in Taylor County, the daughter of Barton and Laura Hazelbaker Adams. She was married to Joseph Hipsley on March 14, 1920. One daughter, Mrs Earl (Garnette) Snively, was born to the couple.Mrs Hipsley is survived by her husband, who is living at the Northcrest Care Center in Council Bluffs. Mr and Mrs Hipsley moved to Council Bluffs last November to be near their' daughter who survives along with one granddaughter and two grandsons.Lloyd Adams is a brother of Mrs Hipsley and Ethel Adams is a sister. They are both New Market residents.Walker Funeral Home in Clarinda was in charge of services. Casketbearers were Bob Malcom, Merle Harland, Lee Long, Dell Damewood, Thomas Harris and Gordon Rainforth.Burial was in Memory Cemetery.
