The Los Olivos Housing Authority on Campus Avenue in Upland has a new and brighter look these days. As part of a remodeling project at Los Olivos, the Housing Authority has spent $2,900 on a group of murals for its community center and a nearby ga rage. The murals are being executed by Chano Gonzales, a young artist who graduated earlier this year from the University of Redlands. Gonzales has established his own company, Atzlan Murals, Inc., and he has become a working, full-time artist. Gonzales already has completed mur als at Sharkey Park in Pomona, the Chino Public Library and Bonview Community Center in Ontario. Each of his murals at Los Olivos was approved by a tenant council be fore Gonzales painted it.
