LangeIn Church at ThiellsIn an altar setting of white pompon chrysanthemums and red oak leaves Sunday afternoon at two o'clock in the Thiells Methodist church, Miss Nancy Jean Forrest, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Forrest of Thiells, was married to Mr. Carl William Lange, son of Mr. and Mrs. John IT. Lange of Sawyer Place, Walton, N. Y.The ceremony was performed by the Rev. T. W. Dolman, pastor, and Mrs. Alex Van Meeteren, church organist, played as the guests assembled and rendered the traditional j music for the wedding. A reception I was given immediately following at , the home of the bride’s parents. Escorted over a white carpet by:fsofhrher father, Miss Forrest w'ore a gown of white satin and lace made* in princess style with a Pilgrim collar finished with an overlay of lace. The front of the gown was appliqued with lace which formed wide bands at the bottom of a skirt that terminated in a train. A fingertip veil of illusion was held in place by a tiara of seed pearls, and the bride carried white carnations arranged in a cascade bouquet.Mrs. Andrew Hulbert of Sidney, N. Y., a sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor. She wore a gown of gold satin, a gold heart-shaped halo hat trimmed with matching lace, and carried a cascade bouquet of greencarnations. Miss Violet Morano of Thiells was bridesmaid. She wore a gown of emerald green satin, and her flowers were yellow carnations arranged in a cascade bouquet.Mr. John S. Forrest, brother of the bride, was best man for Mr. Lange, whose ushers were the Messrs. Irving Emcrick of Margaretville and John Bickos of Sidney.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Forrest wore a dark green dress, black accessories, and a corsage of yellow tea roses. Mrs. Lange wore a wine-colored frock, gray accessories, and a corsage of pink tea roses.After a wedding trip in New England and Canton, N. Y., where they met, Mr. Lange and his bride will be at home at Sawyer Place, Walton. For traveling, Mrs. Lange wore a navy blue gabardine suit, pink accessories, and a corsage of pink tea roses.Mr. Lange was graduated from Walton High School and attended New York State Agricultural and Technical Institute at Canton. He served three years in the European Theatre as a technical sergeant with the Army in World War II and is in business in Walton. Mrs. Lange was graduated from Haverstraw High School and also attended the Canton institute.She had been feted at two showers prior to her wedding. One was given at the home of Mrs. David Roche of Thiells by Miss Morano and Miss Donna Roche.
