Wildcats Stampede Westminster 54-0Weber unmercifully slaughtered Westminster on their first league exhibition. The Wildcats displayed championship form to humble the Salt Lakers before a big gridiron population. The contest ended 54-0 in favor of the Purple and White.Presenting a spectacular offense behind the inspiring leadership of Frankie Read, the Wildcats ham-ni a red and crashed the forward wall of the visitors for countless gains sweeping down the field with the Parsons helpless before the terrific drives.Squad DayWeber is singing the praises of the squad as it was the “Squad” that spelled the down fall of the Purple and Gold aggregation. Coach Stevenson substituted freely, and wisely, giving 34 players, each a few minute's in the game. The squad was here and there, giving the gridiron the appearance of a white “dandelion patch.
