Frederick H. Schnelle Expires After Surgical Operation. mM jatanm 40) Frederick “Herman Schnelle, an old and well known resident of St. Paul, died yesterday morning at 11 ° o’clock at ‘St. Joseph’s hospital as a result of an operation performed last, Friday. He had lived in St. Paul since 1865, and was widely acquainted among the Ger mans of the city. , He, was a member of several societies, . r. Schnelle was a shoemaker, and followed his occupation during the years of his residence.in St. Paul. He was born in Zipzendorf,., Germany, March 25,1829, and came to America in 1854, settling at Cincinnati where he married Miss Christina Hagen, who survives him. He came to St. Paul at the close of the war, and résided in this city continuously singe... .. He had‘ served as secretary of Con cordia lodge,A, O. U..W., during the past twenty-six years, and was a member of the Druids and the Con cordia Singing society. Besides the widow, three sons and two daughters survive him. His sons are Fred A. Schnelle, William Schnelle and Robert J. Schnelle, and his daughters are Mrs. Susie Peters and Mrs. Minnie Bern bach, all of St. Paul. The funeral will be held from the residence, 228 West Fifth street, Wed nesday afternoon.
