William Barry died on Tuesday at the home of his aunt, Mrs. John ‘Alendon; on” South “avendd’ s and yesterday the remains were laid away in St. Mary's Cemetery at Plainfield. Last February, Barry who was a painter in the employ of Philip John, was stricken’ with a severe, cold which developed, into consumption. _ At nine o'clock yesterday the “simenthe waa~held--John ‘dfalaneys, John ‘Gleason, Samuel Colwell and Thomas Nougherty, the pall bearers, carried the oak coffin, containing Darry’s body from his late home to South avenue, ‘indicated on placingy it in the hearey, lifted it on the shoul ders of four of Brady’s young friends who started on foot for St.Michael’s Church. Light other friends walked behind and took turns at carrying the precious burden until the church was reached. The service was con ducted by Father Wilson.W. .N. Gray was the funeral director. The Presbyterian Church was well represented at~ the Sunday School Convention held ‘yesterday in Plain feld.’ Persons attending were G. H. Krause, Dr. J. K. MacConnell; Miesen JM.~Foster, L. Watson, May and Florence Bradley, Mrs.EoN.. Bron dage, Mr. and Mrs. F. Woodruff, G. H. Krause,was again elected. Corres ponding Secretary of the Union County. Sunday School Union.
