Breuklanctar was a heavy competit-or of one of these and had nearly reached the soal, E. Sterrenbury unanimously carried the day for township clerk and so did L. Bein-tema for township assessor. There were about six candidates for constable, of which two had to be chosen. G. Maasdam and C. Breuklan-der were the lucky ones.a
