Landmark Hotel Fire Caused By CigaretteA fire m a room of the Landmark Hotel Sunday, which forced evacuation of guests and employees, is believed to have been caused by a smoldering cigarette, a Summa Corp official said MondayFred Lewis public relations director for the Summaowned resort hotel said fire department investigation hasn't been completed There were no injuries and the fire was confined to a guest room on the 22nd floorHeavy smoke however seeped down the elevator shafts and penetrated the casino and other pound floor facilities No damage estimate was given.
