The Rivers-born man, ogether with his wife and seven-year-old son, Mervin, swept into town on Saturday, tappy to be among old friends again.His last visit to Rivers was three years ago. At that time, he ducked off one train, galloped around town, shouted hello’s, shook hands and made the station as the second section was pulling out! *Born Oct. 6. 1916, Lloyd received his education here. He joined the naval service in 1939 at Port Arthur, Ontario, and spent his war years at Halifax, at refitting work..Upon his discharge In July 1944, he returned to his home at Winedor, Ont, where he took up his former work of handling wholesale machine parts and supplies. He recently had as his guest his mother, Mrs. H. R Moxley-of Winnipeg.Mr. and Mrs. Moxley left Sunday for Melville, Sask., where they will visit the latter's parents before returning home.nooVFcbf1
