PROMINENT MEN WILL ATTEND ARIZONA MEET OF CATTLE GROWERSPhoenix. Oct. 17.—The Arizo na Cattle Growers* association will as usual hold its annual meeting in Phoenix during Fail week, the dates selected being Nov. 8, 9 and 10. Secretary F. W. Wilson is engaged in preparing an interesting program and though he has not completed or arranged it, he is able to an nounce some of the features.There will be an address ol welcome by Governor Richard E. Sloan, which will be fittingly responded to. One of the notable visitors whose presence is assured will be T. W. Tomlinson of Denver, secretary ol the National Livestock association. He will undoubtedly deliver an address, though Mr. Wilson is not yet able to announce the subject of it.W. C. Barnes of the forestry service will also be in attendance and will deliver an address, most likely on the relations between the lorestry service and the grazing interests, though he has not yet signified the title of it.PtofcssorJ.J. Thornbar, botanist of the University of Arizona, will be in attendance and will give a talk on “Our Grazing Ranges.Dr. J. C. Norton, territorial veterinarian, is expected to address the association on the subject of livestock sanitary conditions. There will of course lie numerous important addresses and talks on questisns presented and it is probable there will le other set speeches or papers that cannot yet be announced. In an\’ event, it is definitely assured that there will be an interesting convention and it is hoped that all the cattlemen of the territory who can possibly do so will arrange to be piesent. The president ol the association is W. W. Cook of Phoenix.
