It torus out that Mr. Kellogg does siot own an inch of** ground iu Louisiana—and he is today revealed in another light than that of a bribetaker—lie stands as a liar and an impostor, and for proof wo publish the following certificate sNew Iiieria, Oct. 3, tftt.1 hereby certify that after a careful examination of the books of record of this parish, up to January, 1883, I find no properly in the name of Win. l*itt Kellogg.I Bud in record of conveyance on the 15th day of July, 1H70,W. Wills sold to Mrs. Mary Ueleu Kellogg the Linden plantation, situated on Hay oil Teclie, for aud in consideration of $54,1135 of her private aud paraphernal funds j $3000 cash, balance in promissory notes accepted for cash. 8he subsequently sold to 0. W. Willis the Linden plantation for the sum of $r000 cash. The sale was marie on the iOth day of July, 1884.A. J. Wakkpieu,Oierk aud cx-oftteio Kecorder. Beal of court attached.
