• * 4 .The newspapers reported recently, that Frank Gotch and a companion had bigged 168 praire chickens in North Oakota in two days. ■ ' The North D;t-loti game officials heard it, and as the number of birds reported was in excess of the legal limit, and as, further.no non-resident license had been issued, they wrote to Gotch to : ask if. the published statement was true. Gotch replied, admitting that he had hunted in Minnesota, but denying that he had Ipscured the bag; limit on any day., or bad hunted in North Dakota.—Ex.
