Elliott, 44. a native ofHunt County and the son of Mr,and Mr*. J, C. Eflioti, MineralHeight*, who died at roon Mondayin Texarkana after an illness ofseveral weeks. His home was in Texarkana.The body was brought to Greenville toduy and will rest at the Gray-Sorrclls Funeral Home until the hour for the service*.Burial will be in the Josephinecemetery.Pallbearers will be Charles Love, A. M. Sangolli, L. N. Odom, R. C, Thompson, J. J. Monroe and N. D. Walker.Mr. Elliott had been connected with the Cotton Belt Railroad for 20 years and before starting his rainroading career he was employed at the Southwestern Transportation Company in Greenville, and also had worked for several other Greenville concerns.Born in Greenville, Mr. Elliott amended the public schools here. He was married to Sue Aday of Josephine on August 20. 1940Survivors besides his wife and one son. Jo# Will Elliott Jr., are his parents: a brother, T R. Elliott, Tyler: two sisters.
