Wounded In Action— * aMr. Frank Masel, 981 E. 67 St., recently received word from his son, Pfc. Frank Masel, Jr., in which he notifies that he was wounded* in the invasion of Italy. He was awarded the Purple Heart, which he has sent home to his father.Pfc. Masel, is serving with the army since February 16, 1942, and is a paratrooper. He was sent overseas in April, 1943 and participated in the invasion of Africa. He writes that he is improving and friends may write to him at the following address: Pfc. Frank Masel Jr., A. S.
