Pleads Not Guilty to Slay ing and Holdups Harvey George, 22, former Toul minville school teacher, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Her man Kirkland, Toulminville drug gist, and six charges of robbery ;when arraigned in circuit court today, on case was set for trial Nov. George was returned to Mobile yesterday afternoon from Atmore prison where he was serving a term for larceny. The robberies were committed, according to So licitor B. B. Chamberlain, while Farvey George was a member of the “Otto George Gang.” They include, the state official said, the holdup of several Greer stores, Agee's stores and the bay bridge. Others Indicted Harvey George was indicted jointly with Otto George and Lafayette “Cotton” Bush for the slaying of Kirkland, May 31. Kirkland had refused to open a door and, according to alleged contescions, Otto George fired a ut. Harvey George is alleged to have driven the auto used in the attempted holdup of the store.
