OOP, 28, 1008 Secretary Charles Barber of the district fair re turned this morning from Milwaukee where he spent, yesterday interviewing the buttermakers and others interested in dairy farming with reference to the ex hibit at the next district fair at Mason City. The government officials, including Hon. B. H. Raw, chief of the dairy division of the department of agri culture, and D. D. White, who has charge of the dairy exhibit at the Minnesote state fair, gave Mr. Barber assurances that anything they had in the way of execu tive exhibit that the felr association would designate would be gladly furnished. For instance, Mr. White has a perfec of moving pictures and wing = model creamery, how the butter is made in every ciege from the lineadow to the chum, which he will, furnishf the association will get a room for the pictures and the lecture which attends. The dairy machinery men also told Mr. Garber that they would have a large ex hibit here next year and the Minnesota, Iowa and Win consin atate dairy commissioners gave assurance that they would appoint 2 as perintendent in their atate among the buttermakers to induce them to make ex hibits here next year. Bayz brothers have leased the storeroom on North Main street, formerly occupied by the Republican Printing company and are preparing to open a flrst class confectionery and i¢¢ cream parlor as soon as their fixtures are completed. Ted Bayz of the firm is in the city and will superintend the opening of the place. The Bayz brothers conduct a Hire place of busi ness in Fairfield and come highly recommended. Mrs. J. 3. Sharple entertained the teachers of the M.E. primary department Saturday at her home on Superior street in honor of her cousin, a returned mis sionary from Ching. 4 .
