As will be seen from an extract of the bill, the people of Iowa have no reason to complain in this respect, nearly every locality being well cared for, indeed, some places have more mail terminations than will be found necessary or convenient. This, however, can be easily righted when the time comes for putting the various lines into operation. We will instance one of those prolongations of routes, where another route carries mail facilities by another provision. This oill provides lor a new mail route from Sabula, in Jackson county, to Cascade, in Dubuque county, by way of certain places. This is all right, and was really necessary, but farther down in the bill, we find another route established from Savanah, Illinois, by way of Sabula, and thence over the already established route to Andrew, in Jackson county. This prolongation beyond Sabula is wholly unnecessary, and may, if persisted in, endanger the more nccesary route. There are several other similarities in tiiis 1x11 that should have been avoided. We publish that portion of the bill which relates specially to Iowa.IOWA.From Dubuque to Makoqucta. From Andrew, via Canton, Scotch Cl rove, Edinburgh, and Anamosa to Independence. From Wintersett, Madison county, via Wall-la-wah, Whiting s .
