Shelby names poster winnersSHELBY — In observance of Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 5*11), students in Shelby. Tennant grades 14 competed in a poster contest. Winners were announced by Fire Chief Nick Rosenow.Posters were judged by all firemen, with the $5 grand prize going to Mandy Blakestad, a sixth-grader. Other sixth-grade winners were Brad Stewart, first place, $3; Caroline Paul, $2, second (dace; Brandy King, $1, third place.Fifth grade — 1. Jill Konz,2. Brad Hundt, 3.
