First Wife DiedMr, Williams was twice married, His first marriage was toMiss Nellie M. Getchell, Dec, 4, 1881. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C, S. Getchell, formerly of Independence and later ofNeligh, Neb. She died at Galesburg Feb. 17, 1908, and is buried in Oalc Grove (Oakwood) cemetery, Independence, by the side of the body of a son, and on this family lot the body of Mr. Williams will be laid away. Her funeral services were conducted in the old congregational church here, now Memorial hall. Surviving children of this marriage are the sons, Ross, Parke, and Hollis and a daughter, Etholeen, all married and living in Canada. Mr. William s’ second marriage was to Mrs. Jennie C. Gleason at Galesburg, 111., Dec. 4, 1911, who survives.
