Forty students at Espanola High school were named to the first six weeks honor roll, with freshmen dominating the list. Only five students posted all A’s and four of these were fresh men, Elizabeth J. Jones, Amy Maestas, Fred Martinez and Heather Spiers. Rebecca Lopez, a sophomore, was the fifth. Seniors earning all A’s and B’s were Robert Bacalski, Sharon Kimes, Betty Little, Rose Marie Maestas, Cozette Nelson, Andres Salazar, Carol Ann Scheutzel, Terry Loesbe, Della Vigil and Ricky Vigil. Juniors were Saundra Arnold, Angus Evans, Anita Galvez, Phil Garcia, Raliegh Gardenhire, Inez Lopez, Lucy C. Maestas, Kather ine Moore, Linda Norris, Jose phine Padilla, Patsy Rodriguez, Amelia Sena, Lennie Serna, Gil bert Manuel Vigil and Warren Wood. Sophomores are Harry Bostick, Stella Chacon, Barbara Daves, Iola Esquibel, Darby Jones, Car men Lujan, Gene Martinez, Kay Jean Quillen, Joseph Sedillo and Carmen Valdez. Freshmen are Geraldine De Vargas, Priscilla Galvez, Angela M. Gutierrez, Pete J. Herrera, Cheryl Holterman, Ronald D. Ley, Glen H. Little, Diana C. Lopez, Kris McRae, Josephine A. Madrid, Gloria A. Maestas, Lillian M. Maestas, Alice H. Martinez, Andy Mar tinez, Armando Martinez, Myra Medina, Mary Ann Rodriguez, Antoinette Savage, Diane Smith and Viola R. Vigil.
