Bothun, who has for! some time been located at Shelby, i Mont. Mr. Bothun was formerly a resident of Bancroft township, being one of. the early pioneers, who with the late Andrew Skaug did considerable breaking up of new land for other settlers such as Lars Braaten, Ole Anderson, A. Teslow and others of Hayward township. The breaking was done with five yoke of oxen. Mr. Bothun keeps in touch with current events in Albert Lea and Freeborn county by reading the Patriot.
