Mrs. Harve Porter who was so seri ously injured last week when the hos es hitched to a wagon in which she was riding ran away throwing Mrs. Porter to the ground causing viter ously injured last week when the hors ial injuries is slightly improved. This will be good news to her many friends in this community. She is a sister of Arthur Lowe of this place. Mr. and Mrs. Charles McDaniel en tertained at dinner Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ernest McDaniel and son Paul of near Shelbyville, Mr. and Mrs. Roy McDaniel, Misses Clay and Andra Craig of Waldron and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wissing and children. Mrs. Wilbur Peck spent the week end at Indiennapolis with her daugh ter Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sheppard. Miss Frankie Lewis and Clarence Alter were at Shelbyville Sunday eve ning the guests of Miss Leone En cott and Mildred Kanouwse. Rev. M. BE. Abel and family of Ma nilla were the guests Sunday of Hayes Marshall and family. Mr and Mrs. George Fessler gave a miscellaneous shower for Mr. and Mrs. Morris Fessler Tuesday night. About eighty relatives and friends were present. The young couple received many gifts of combined usefulness and beauty. Mr. and Mrs. Fessler served ice cream and cake. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wissing went to Brasill, Ind.. Thursday where Dr. George Lewis, the father of Mrs. Wis sing will assist in removing the ton sila from Mr. Wissing’s son, Lewis. ‘If the operation is successful they will return home Sunday. About 50 members of the Christian Union Sunday school, took their din ner and spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gahimer and family near Arlington. They all report a pleasant trip and a splendid time at the Gahlie mer home and the dinner was too good to talk about for the Gahlemer family are royal entertainers and the dinner was a decided success.
